We at TOURISM ICELAND, make the best effort to provide you the best service in a pleasant & friendly atmosphere. We strive for your complete satisfaction and endeavour to provide a safe & secure holiday without any misunderstandings between the company, the tour leaders and you at any point of time during your holiday. Therefore, we request you to read and understand the booking conditions for your holiday, before you enrol yourself for any of our tours/packages. The terms and conditions as stated below forms the basis of our contract with you.
CONTRACT: All the tours are operated by TOURISM ICELAND. When you book the tour, it is a contract between you & Us. All the bookings are accepted only on the basis that you have thoroughly gone through these mentioned terms and conditions.
BOOKING & CONTRACT: The registration amount given at the time of booking is refundable and transferrable. The bookings will be processed by the tour agency only after the registration amount is paid in full. Full or balance payments should be made 45 days prior to the date of departure. If the tourist fails to pay timely full amount, then the tour agency reserves the right to cancel the booking. In case of dishonoured cheques issued by the tourist in favour of the agency, the agency reserves the right to take necessary legal actions and the company has full right to cancel the bookings.
TAXES, LAVIES and CHARGES that may apply to the price of your holiday: All prices of our holidays are subject to a tax known as Air Passenger Duty (APD), a duty of excise levied on the carriage from a UK airport of chargeable passengers on chargeable aircraft since 1994. Please visit www.hmrc.gov.uk for further information. If governments or airport authorities impose any increases or additional taxes and charges that will be in effect on the day you travel, TOURISM ICELAND is responsible for collecting these on their behalf. We will notify you by email or by post at least 5 days before debiting your payment card with the increased charges. Please be assured that no payment card fee will be levied in these circumstances. If your payment card is no longer valid, we will contact you by telephone to request your new payment card details.
AIRLINES & TICKET: The company won’t be responsible in case of any Airlines delay or deficiency. In case passengers wish to travel in advance or stay back and return later after the completion of the tour, the tourist is liable to pay an additional amount (to be advised as per availability) per change prior to the departure. If the tourist wants to make any change in plan on tour, then all the arrangements must be done by the tourist itself. During the trip, for any reason, if you may wish to return to India, the entire cost to return will be borne by the passenger and no refund will be granted.
ACCOMMODATION: All Hotel Check in is 1500 Hrs. & Check out is 1000 Hrs. Rooms next to each other are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the hotel. Itinerary / Hotel / Route are subject to vice-e-versa changes. Your final itinerary will be as per the flight schedule and booklet provided to you 7 days prior departure. Any early check in or late checkout at hotels will not be entertained.
TRANSPORTATION: In our group tours, we don’t allot any seat numbers as a seat rotation policy is been followed. All the passengers must follow the instruction by the tour leader in this regard. If any of the passengers carry any high value items on the coach, we advise you to not leave them behind when you leave the coach. All baggage and personal belongings are at all time your own responsibility. The tour company or coach company won’t be responsible for any loss of any items from the coach. Any damages caused by you to the coach during the travel shall be payable by you and the tour company won’t be liable for the same.
SIGHTSEEING: Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, if any activity or any sightseeing is missed then the tour company shall not be liable to pay any refunds. Any delays occurred by the passengers will disturb the schedule and cause inconvenience to the entire group. Any loss or damage done during the activity will be borne by the passengers, Instructions given by the Tour Manager or Guide should be followed by all the passengers. Free/complimentary activities are all non-refundable and subject to weather conditions.
MEALS: There is mostly a pre-set menu for the meals depending on the tour itinerary. Packed meals will be served only at certain places. Any special meals to be prepared or any allergic items during the tour must be informed prior to the departure.
LUGGAGE: You are allowed only to carry 22 kgs of main luggage & 10kgs hand luggage with yourself during flight journey & in the coach. For any baggage loss or damage during the travel shall be solely borne by the passenger.
HEALTH & EMERGENCY DURING TOUR: It is presumed that the tourist who have booked the tour have gone through the itinerary & is medically fit for the tour. In case of any health emergency or any other related issues, the guest shall be solely responsible to make their own arrangements. Thus, the company cannot be held responsible for any health-related issues of the passenger.
REFUND: (1) In case of cancellation, the amount will then be refunded on the same payment card or method that was used for the transaction.
(ii) NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE
a) For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to whatsoever reason.
b) Where full deposit is required to be paid in advance to the concerned authorities to enable Company to confirm the reservation.
c) If services of the tour are modified, varied, amended, cancelled, or not utilized.
d) If any tourist decides and or is required to cancel the tour due to any changes made in the rules by the concerned Government.
e) If the tour is indefinitely postponed due to natural calamity, nots, political unrest, or any other unforeseen calamities
f) Refund is not applicable for air tickets that are non-refundable and for which date change is+ not allowed.
Force Majeure means an event or circumstance not within the reasonable control, directly or indirectly, of TOURISM ICELAND in its ability to perform its obligations/responsibilities regarding the tour including War, hostile invasion, act of foreign enemies.
o Rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power or civil war
o Epidemic, pandemic, explosion, fire, flood, earthquake or another exceptional natural calamity and act of God.
o lonizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel, or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive, or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such assembly.
o Riot, commotion or disorder.
o Any act or omission of any Government instrumentality.
o A change in Legal Requirements.
o Strikes, lockouts or other industrial disturbances;
o Abnormal weather or sea conditions including tempest, lightning, hurricane, typhoon, rain & temperatures.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: The initial deposits made by the passenger against the tour booking will not be refundable or transferrable under any circumstances.

30 Days Prior 50% of Tour Cost. 7 days prior 70% of Tour cost.
